Mr Matsura handbuilds his bicycle, one at a time. In this mood of mass production and generic products, he is like the last of the mohicans. I had the privilege to visit him 1 year ago which left a very deep impression on me. This is how to get to his studio if u happen to be in Tokyo. He is even featured in Tokyo living cultural icons.. together with lacquer ware and metal foundry masters.

Nitto - Japanese Quality parts

I first came to know about Nitto at TR bikes and chose a north road handle bar. The lines were beautiful and the finishing, Peeeerfecto. As I searched for more infor... I realized I got myself a Nitto. Nitto is a small factory located in Tokyo. But it is big with the Fixies, Keiren and all roadies folks. So much heart and work goes into the making of a seemingly utility parts.
